TROPE of Kyrie II Kyrie II

CREDO III Ver partitura

Amen

I believe in one God, the Father almighty, maker of heaven and earth, and of all things visible and invisible.

And in one Lord, Jesus Christ, the only begotten Son of God, born of the Father before all ages. God from God, Light from Light, true God from true God, begotten, not made, one in being with the Father; through Whom all things were made.

Who for us men and for our salvation came down from heaven. He was made flesh by the Holy Spirit from the Virgin Mary, and was made man. He was crucified for us under Pontius Pilate; suffered, and was buried. On the third day He rose again according to the Scriptures; He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of the Father. He will come again in glory to judge the living and the dead, and of His kingdom there shall be no end.

And in the Holy Spirit, the Lord and giver of Life, Who proceeds from the Father and the Son. Who, with the Father and the Son, is adored and glorified: Who has spoken through the Prophets.

And I believe in one holy, catholic and apostolic Church.

I confess one baptism for the remission of sins. And I look for the resurrection of the dead, and the life of the age to come. Amen.

PATER NOSTER Ver partitura
The Lord's Prayer

Pater noster qui es in caelis, sanctificetur nomen tuum; adveniat regnum tuum; fiat voluntas tua sicut in caelo et in terra.

Panem nostrum quotidianum da nobis hodie; et dimitte nobis debita nostra, sicut et nos dimittimus debitoribus nostris. Et ne nos inducas in tentationem. Sed liberanos a malo.

OUR Father, who art in heaven, hallowed be Thy name. Thy kingdom come. Thy will be done on earth as it is in heaven. Give us this day our daily bread and forgive us our trespasses as we forgive those who trespass against us. And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil. Amen.

ALELUYA, Magnus Dominus Ver partitura
(Sunday VIIIth after Whitsunday)

Alleluia. Magnus Dominus et laudabilis valde, in civitate Dei, in monte sancto ejus.

Hallelujah. Great is the Lord and worthy of praise, in the city of God, in his sacred mountain.

ALLELUIA, Caro mea Ver partitura
Feast of Christ body
Alleluia. Qui manducat meam carnem et bibit meum sanguinem in me manet et ego in eo. Hallelujah. My flesh is true food and my blood true drink. Who eats my flesh and drinks my blood lives in me and Me in him.
SALVA NOS DOMINE
(Antiphon. Sunday complines)

Survive, O Lord, to those who have been awake, take care of those that rest;  so that we watch over with Christ and let us rest in peace.

HOMO QUIDAM Ver partitura
(Responsory)

Certain man organized a great dinner and sent his servant at the hour of dinner so that he said to his guests to come:

Because everything is prepared.

Come to eat my bread and to drink my wine that I prepared for you.

UT QUEANT LAXIS Ver partitura
At St John the Baptist feast.
Hymn of Vespers

Ut queant laxis resonare fibris
mira gestorum famuli tuorum
salve polluti labii reatum.
Sancte Joannes.

Nuntius celso veniens Olympo,
te patri magnum fore nasciturum,
nomen et vitae seriem gerendae
ordine promit.

Ille promissi dubius superni
perdidit promptae modulos loquelae:
sed reformasti genitus peremptae
organa vocis.

Ventris obstruso recubans cubili
senseras Regem thalamo manentem
hinc parens nati meritis uterque
abdita pandit.

Sit decus Patri, genitaeque proli,
et tibi compar utriusque virtus,
Spiritus semper, Deus unus, omni
temporis aevo. Amen.

So that these your servants can, with all their voice, to sing your wonderful feats, clean the blemish of our spotted lips. O Saint John!

An angel came from the heavens to announce your father the greatness of your birth, dictating him the name that you should take and discovering him the course of your destination.

He (Zacarias) doubted of these divine promises and was deprived of the use of the speech; but when you were born it recovered the voice that had lost.

Still locked in your mother's breast, you felt the King's presence housed in the vestal womb. And prophet, before being born, you revealed this mystery to your parents.

Glory be to the Father and to the engendered Son; glory similar to the Holy Spirit that is knot of both, for every century. Amen

CANTICUM SIMEONIS
Canticle of Simeon

Nunc dimittis servum tuum in Domine, secundum verbum tuum in pace.

Quia viderunt oculi mei salutare tuum

Gloria Patri...

NOW dismiss Thy servant, O Lord, * in peace, according to Thy word:

For mine own eyes hath seen * Thy salvation,

Which Thou hast prepared * in the sight of all the peoples,

A light to reveal Thee to the nations * and the glory of Thy people Israel.

Gloria...

MEDIA VITA

Media vita in morte sumus: quem quaerimus adjutorem nisi te Domine? Qui pro peccatis nostris juste irasceris.

Sancte Deus, sancte fortis, sancte misericors Salvator, amarae morti ne tradas nos.

In the fullness of the life we are dead. To whom do we look for as our help but to You, Lord? Who because of our sins is angry.

Sacred God, strong Saint, merciful Saint, Saviour: don't give us to the bitter death.

Our parents waited in You, they waited and You liberated them.

Our parents clamored to You, they clamored and they were not confused.

AVE VERUM Ver partitura

Ave verum corpus natum de Maria virgine; Vere passum, immolatum in cruce pro homine.

Cujus latus perforatum fluxit aqua et sanguine.

Esto nobis praegustatum mortis examine.

O Jesús dulcis, O Jesu pie!

O Jesu fili Mariae

Hail, true Body born of Virgin Mary, truly tormented and immolated in the cross by the man.

Of their passed side it poured water and blood.

Make you to like in the trance of the death.

O sweet Jesus, O compassionate Jesus,

O Jesus, Son of Mary!

ECCE PANIS ANGELORUM Partitura Gregoriana

Ecce Panis angelorum, factus cibus viatorum,  vere panis filiorum, non mitendus canibus.

In figuris praesignatur cum Isaac immolatur, Agnus Paschae deputatur, datur manna patribus.

Bone Pastor, Panis vere, Jesu, nostri Miserere. Tu nos pasce, nos tuere, Tu nos bona fac videre in terra viventium.

Amen. Alleluia

Behold the Bread of the angels, made food for the wayfarers; it is truly the Bread of the children; it should not be heady to the dogs.

Isaac's immolation, the Sacrifice of the paschal lamb and the manna given to our parents had served as premature figures.

Good Shepherd, true bread, o Jesus!: have mercy on us. Graze and protect us. Make us to see the goods in the earth of the alive ones.

You who know all and you who can, who graze us here when we are even mortal, make us there your diners, coheirs and the saints' partners. Amen, Hallelujah.

EGO SUM PASTOR BONUS

Ego  sum Pastor bonus, Alleluia: et cognosco oves meas et cognoscunt me meae, alleluia.

I am the Good Shepherd, Hallelujah: and I know my sheep, and they know me, Hallelujah.

DECORA LUX
(Hymn for the feast of St. Peter and St. Paul)

Decora lux aeternitatis auream diem beatis irrigavit ignibus, Apostolorum quae coronat principes, reisque in astra liberam pandit viam.

Mundi magíster, atque caeli Janitor, Romae parentes, arbitrique gentium,  perennis ille, hic per crucis victor necem, Vitae senatum laureati possident.

Amen.

A beautiful light of eternity, irrigated with happy fires the golden day that crowns the princes of the Apostles, and that opens to the criminals a free road toward the stars.

One teacher of the world, the other doorkeeper of the heaven, both parents from Rome and judges of the most severe tribunal, they arrive at the eternal mansion, after dying the one for the sword and the other one in the cross.

O Rome! happy you that were consecrated with the glorious blood of two princes: dressed of purple with their blood, you surpass all the beauties of the world.

Have the eternal Trinity glory and honor, power and praise, in the unit of who governs all for infinite centuries of eternity. Amen.

VENI SPONSA CHRISTI Music sheet
Veni sponsa Christi, accipe coronam, quam tibi Dominus praeparavit in aeternum: pro cujus amore sanguinem tuum fudisti.

Come, Bride of Christ, and take the everlasting crown, which the Lord hath prepared for thee, even for thee who for the love  of Him hast shed thy blood.
